BrownBag 3 - February 25th
'Britain and Islam' with Prof. Iftikhar Malik

A good turnout, the best part of 20 people, mostly undergraduates.

Questioning whether or how Britain and Islam can occupy a similar, competing ideological space, as suggested in the title.
Iftikhar went on to discuss topics from his book 'Islam and Modernity'.

BrownBag 4 - March 25th
Postgraduate Study Q&A.
Initial summary: An overwhelming turnout of 2 undergraduates, 6 postgraduates and Iftikhar Malik restricted this to an intense discussion of the process, value and practice of a PhD. Coffee was drunk, links were made, website addresses were disseminated and noone was killed. Thanks.
